There are five existing international standard 18-hole golf courses within a 15-20 minute drive including Praia d'El Rey voted Europe's best golf course for 2006. Another three new golf courses are currently in design and approval stage, one of them being in So Martinho do Porto and another at Foz do Arelho which is just five minutes drive away.

There are also plans to build six more over the next few years. These golf courses will attract a slice of the country's sports-tourism to the region, generating more revenue and fuelling the need for quality tourist accommodation.

Set in the heart of the of Nazare, Colina da Nazare is a two minute walk from the beach with its long stretched white shores and captivating waves.  Nazare which is split into three main districts Praia (beach), Pederneira and Sitio, offers many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops, hotels, banks and pharmacies etc.
